Uses and effects of polyferric sulfate

Features

(1). The dosage of medicament is relatively low;

(2). It can adapt to a wide range of water quality conditions; basically there is no need to control the pH of the solution;

(3). Fast agglomeration speed, large alum blooms and rapid settlement;

(4). It can decolorize, remove heavy metal ions, reduce the concentration of COD and BOD in water and improve the effect of chlorination and sterilization. It is an excellent inorganic polymer coagulant.

Application

New high-efficiency flocculating water treatment agent. Polyferric sulfate is used in the treatment of environmental protection and industrial wastewater. The method of use is roughly the same as that of water plants. It has a very good effect on the treatment of raw water with high chroma, high COD and BOD, supplemented by additives. It is a new and efficient flocculant. It is mainly used for the purification of drinking water and industrial water, as well as various industrial wastewater and urban sewage (such as wastewater from food, leather, mining, metallurgy, printing and dyeing, papermaking, petroleum, etc.).

Product performance and quality index

This product is light yellow amorphous powder, easily soluble in water. Compared with other inorganic flocculants, this product has excellent coagulation performance, fast sedimentation speed and good water purification effect. It does not contain harmful substances such as aluminum, chlorine and heavy metal ions, and there is no water phase transfer of iron ions. It is non-toxic and harmless. It is safe and reliable, with significant decolorization, deodorization, dehydration, deoiling, sterilization, removal of heavy metal ions, radioactive substances and carcinogens in the water, etc., and the removal rate of COD, BOD and chroma is as high as 90%. It can adapt to a wide pH of water, ranging from 4 to 11. This product implements the national standard GB 14591-1993,

Cohesion

During the coagulation process, when PFS provides a multi-component nuclear hydroxyl complex, each component starts to have multiple coagulation effects on the particles in the slurry or the colloidal particles in the water. Those high-valent complex ions with relatively small molecular weight are attracted by the negatively charged colloidal particles and suspended matter in the raw water into the compact layer, which acts to compress the double layer of the colloidal particles and reduce the f-potential, so that the colloidal particles are rapidly destabilized and aggregated. Shen. The relative molecular mass of the inorganic polymer coagulant increases, the degree of extension increases, the number of contacts increases, and the adsorption between particles increases. PFS provides a large number of macromolecular complexes and hydrophobic hydroxide polymers in the solution, which has a good adsorption effect. However, PFS is different from organic polymer flocculants in many nuclear hydroxyl complexes in solution, and the relative molecular mass of these polymers is much smaller than that of organic flocculant. The molecular size and structural characteristics make these complex ions have a strong adsorption and neutralization effect in coagulation. Therefore, the main contribution of high-valent macromolecular complex ions in PFS solution in coagulation is the adsorption and neutralization of the charge of colloidal particles. And both have intergranular agglomeration. PFS flocs have a large surface area, high surface energy, compact and compact structure, and a certain strength. During the sedimentation process, the adsorption capacity of colloidal particles is large, it has the effect of adsorption and co-precipitation and is prone to sweeping deposition. The sediment volume is small and sedimentation Fast speed greatly improves the coagulation effect of PFS.

Safety, health and protection

This product is non-toxic and non-burning, but it has a certain irritation to the skin. Operators who produce and use this product should wear protective equipment to avoid direct contact with the body.

Packing, storage and transportation

Liquid products are packed in FRP tank trucks or food-grade polyethylene plastic drums. The net weight of each barrel is 25kg. The drum should be sealed with an inner lid. The tanker is sealed with a rubber gasket.

Solid products are double-packed. The inner layer is made of food-grade polyethylene plastic film bags, which are manually tied with vinylon rope or other ropes of similar quality; the outer packaging is made of plastic woven bags, which are evenly stitched with vinylon or other ropes of similar quality. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

Do not expose to the sun during storage; storage temperature 20. The storage period is half a year. Do not store or transport with toxic substances. Avoid collisions during transportation to prevent contamination due to damaged packaging.
