What should be paid attention to when dissolving polyaluminum chloride?

Polyaluminum chloride is very effective in water treatment applications. Polyaluminum chloride can play such a good effect, not only because of the quality of the product, but also the correct use method, such as: mixing ratio, dissolution rate, method, etc.

So, what should be paid attention to when PAC dissolves quickly? Below, Henan Safe Trading Co., Ltd. will introduce to you in detail, the following points should be paid attention to when polyaluminum chloride is dissolved quickly:

1. Polyaluminum chloride is an inorganic polymer compound, which is corrosive and easily soluble in water. According to the water quality of the raw water, a beaker experiment should be done before use to obtain a better dosage.

2. When preparing polyaluminum chloride solution, it needs to be mixed and dissolved according to solid: clear water=1:5 (W/V), and then diluted with water to the above concentration.

3. In order to facilitate the calculation, the test solution is configured according to the weight-to-volume ratio (W/V), generally 2-5% is better. For example: when preparing a 3% solution, weigh 3g of polyaluminum chloride, put it into a washed 200ml measuring cylinder, add about 50ml of clean water, and then add water to dilute to the 100ml mark after dissolving, and shake it well.

4. In terms of the control of the amount of polyaluminum chloride, less than 1% solution is easy to hydrolyze, which will reduce the use effect. If the concentration is too high, it is easy to cause spoilage and it is not easy to control the dosage. When using polyaluminum chloride, the liquid product is made into 5-10% aqueous solution, and the solid product is made into 3-5% aqueous solution (according to the product weight).

5. When dosing, dosing according to the required dosage, and the utensils used for dosing need to be antiseptic. Pay attention to observation and adjustment during operation. If you see that the sedimentation tank has few alum blooms and large residual turbidity, then the dosage is too small. . Less than 1% solution is easy to hydrolyze, which will reduce the use effect of polyaluminum chloride. Too high concentration is easy to cause waste, and it is not easy to control the dosage.
