Combined Use of Polyaluminum Chloride and Polyacrylamide to Treat Sewage

Combined Use of Polyaluminum Chloride and Polyacrylamide to Treat Sewage

Today I will share with you a video step of sewage treatment. This experiment reflects the application of coagulants and flocculants in sewage treatment.

A customer saw our experimental video through youtube, tried to use polyacrylamide to treat sewage, but it didn't work, and then left us a message on the website to ask why.

After communicating with the customer, our technicians learned that the customer's water comes from the irrigation reservoir, and the water quality is brown, and they hope to make the water clear. We can't test water quality, we can only provide customers with testing methods.

The customer didn't know much about the application of coagulant, so our technicians found similar water samples and took a video of treating this kind of sewage for the customer.

We first simulated the effect of adding only polyacrylamide to sewage, and found that the sewage hardly changed. We tried the second method, the combination of polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide to treat sewage, and the effect is very obvious. These two agents are used to treat almost all types of sewage, which can be described as a golden combination. Generally speaking, in the process of use, polyaluminum chloride is used as a coagulant, and polyacrylamide is used as a coagulant aid. of. But these two products cannot be used at the same time.

Polyaluminum chloride has many characteristics such as adapting to a wide range of waters and a wide range of pH values, and its price is much lower than that of polyacrylamide. In terms of usage, polyaluminum chloride is much higher than polyacrylamide, but increasing the amount of polyaluminum chloride can reduce the amount of polyacrylamide, and the mixed use of these two products can achieve better treatment effect and more Low cost of use, the specific dosage ratio needs to be tested according to the water quality and turbidity of the sewage.

Let's see how exactly this type of sewage is treated in the video.
